DISTRICT FINANCIAL REPORTING AWARDS

ASBO Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) awards a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting to school districts that publish Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports which substantially conform to the principles and standards of financial reporting as recommended and adopted by the Association of School Business Officials. The award is granted only after an intensive review of the financial report by an expert panel of certified public accountants and practicing school business officials.

The District received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.

GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded West Clermont with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report. The Certificate of Achievement is a prestigious national award recognizing conformance with the highest standards for the preparation of state and local government financial reports.

In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a government unit must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, whose content conforms to program standards. Such reports must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.

The District's most recent Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting is for the year ending June 30, 2022.
