At West Clermont Schools, we understand the vital role that our buildings and spaces play in shaping the future of our students and community. We invite you to be part of our ongoing journey to enhance and strengthen our facilities so that they contribute to educational growth, student and staff safety, and a variety of programming. Here are a couple of ways you can get involved.
Facility Tours: Discover Your West Clermont
One of the best ways to get to know the district is by exploring its buildings and walking in our students’ shoes. Ahead of certain upcoming Board of Education meetings, we will be opening our doors to all residents of the community so you can get to know YOUR West Clermont facilities. The next tour will take place at Clough Pike Elementary on Nov. 16. The tours kick off with a short reception beginning at 6 p.m. followed by a 45-minute building tour. The board meeting begins at 7 p.m. and is also open to the community. Reservations are NOT required, but if you plan to attend, letting us know by completing this form will help us with planning. Additional tour dates will be announced soon.
Town Hall Meetings: Focus on Facilities
Our commitment to providing exceptional learning environments for our students is unwavering. That’s why our next round of Town Hall meetings will center around this important topic. Join us on Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. at Merwin Elementary where we will discuss:
- Design and Purpose of a Modern Learning Environment
- West Clermont School District Facilities Audit
- Cost Considerations for Renovation and New Construction
- Building Configuration
- Early Childhood Education
- Promoting Educational Adequacy and Equity
