West Clermont Schools
I seem to say this every year, but whew, this summer really flew by! I am excited to get back into the school routine, however. I hope you’ll join me in welcoming our staff—new and tenured alike—back to school!
More than 65 new teachers will join us August 8th and 9th for orientation. Thanks to how all of you live out our mission, vision, and values each day, I’ve no doubt they will be feeling a part of the West Clermont family in no time.
All staff will return August 11th for our annual convocation. This year, I will be sharing a message of hope and helping them understand how their daily work ties to our Portrait of a Graduate outcomes. We will review our Portrait of an Educator, which continues our RISE theme. Our educators are:
- Relationship builders and effective communicators
- Innovative and intentional
- Student-centered and lifelong learners
- Empowered and engaged
One thing is certain: this year will be another year of committing to excellence with every learner, every day, every way, and I’m grateful for our teachers and staff who are uniquely designed to make it happen.
