We are excited to kick off the New Year with a thank you to our West Clermont School District Board of Education. January is School Board Recognition Month, and each year, we like to pause to celebrate the work that our board is doing to help West Clermont commit to excellence with every learner, every day, every way.
I believe decisions about school districts are best made locally and am grateful to work alongside such a collaborative group. They are dedicated to supporting the success of all students because this is their community. They know the values of those who reside here, and they understand the importance of a good education and what it means for our students and the long-term success of our community.
Serving as a school board member is often a thankless job. The ever-changing tide of public education means they spend countless hours preparing for and attending meetings, engaging in conversations with community members, and staying up-to-date with current trends. They do all of this so that West Clermont Schools are the best they can be.
Without further ado, I hope you’ll join me not only this month but throughout the year, in showing your appreciation for our Board of Education, made up of the following:
- Michele Delaney, President (3.5 years of service)
- Michael Chumley, Vice President (3 years of service)
- Tammy Brinkman (11 years of service)
- Jim Rudy (5 years of service)
- Ryan Patton (1 year of service)
