LEARNING AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEVEL
At West Clermont, we commit to excellence with every learner, every day, every way. At the elementary level, we strive to engage students in learning that is meaningful, relevant and challenging. Central to our work is the development of student academic and life skills. However, we believe that an elementary education is about much more than that. The elementary student experience is enhanced through educational experiences in the arts, physical education and Discovery — a program with lessons based in creativity, problem solving, thinking skills, teamwork and STEM-related content.
We are proud to offer a robust, full-day, tuition-free kindergarten program as the foundation for each student’s success. As students progress throughout their elementary experience, they continue to be engaged through relevant and meaningful learning experiences. In each grade, students begin their day in a morning meeting, a time devoted to building a strong sense of community and belonging. Our students are taught by highly competent educators who are passionate, well developed and held accountable for providing learning results in a safe and nurturing environment.
