How can you join in the fun?

  • Submit shout-outs to West Clermont staff, community members, alumni, and local businesses or organizations!
  • Show your WC spirit by dressing up for our district-wide Spirit Week!
  • Share some WC love on social media using the hashtag #LoveWC.
  • Support families in our community through our district-wide Reading Pledge/Donation drive.
  • Display the #LoveWC image somewhere visible outside—on your house/building, a sidewalk, a vehicle, well, really anywhere! The more creative, the better! To get you started, here's a DIY coloring page and a letter-sized poster that can be printed.
  • Encourage a local business to also show their support by displaying a #LoveWC poster!

A LOOK BACK:
Spreading the WC Love in Years Past

In the weeks leading up to #LoveWC Week 2022, we collected over 2,500 shout-outs for staff members, community members, businesses, and alumni from West Clermont! Some examples of the comments were:

  • "She’s a phenomenal teacher that makes sure the parents are updated weekly to know what’s going on in the classroom. She also sent a card over Christmas break just to check in. The school is big but she makes sure my daughter and everyone else gets individual attention."
  • Thank you for your time, energy, and dedication. I could not do this without you and the support of our team! You are amazing!!"
  • "He has changed the way I think about going into the outside world when I graduate high school."
  • "This organization reaches out year after year to make sure our students have warm coats and hats and gloves. They are always looking for new ways to help this community and have provided inspirational notes and cards to teachers at a time when morale may not be at its best in the profession. Thank you for having such a big heart and for being a part of this school family."
  • "They go above and beyond to make our school an amazing place for families, students, and staff!!!"

Our Storybook Library: Once Upon A Time in West Clermont

As part of our 2023 State of the Schools theme of "West Clermont: A Stoy Worth Telling," all of our West Clermont schools created an interactive library of digital storybooks called, Once Upon a Time in West Clermont. These books show all of the reasons we love West Clermont!

Without further ado, we present: The Once Upon a Time in West Clermont storybook library!
