West Clermont Continues Strong Results With National Recognition, 4-Star Rating

For the third year in a row, West Clermont High School (WCHS) has been named to the U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best High Schools. WCHS ranks in the top third of high schools nationally and in Ohio.
At the same time, West Clermont Local Schools earned an overall 4-star rating on the latest Ohio State Report Card. Our 4-star State Report Card rating means West Clermont exceeds state standards overall. We also earned 4 stars in Progress, showing significant evidence that our students exceeded growth expectations, and 4 stars in Graduation, with a 96% four-year graduation rate.
I’m proud of these results and, more importantly, of the students and staff behind them. We have seen changes across West Clermont, but our focus continues to be on our students. They are working hard, and our teachers and staff continue to find ways to support them, challenge them and help them succeed.
Our students also have opportunities to push themselves through Advanced Placement coursework and other academic, college and career opportunities. Rankings and report cards do not tell the whole story of a school district, but they give us important ways to measure how we are doing, recognize progress and identify where we need to improve.
There is always more work to do. We want more students succeeding, more students taking advantage of the opportunities available to them and every student leaving West Clermont ready for what comes next.
I’m proud of our students and thankful for the teachers and staff who work every day to help them succeed. I also appreciate our families and community for the support they continue to give our schools.
Together, these results reflect the progress happening across West Clermont and the continued work to help every student learn, grow and prepare for what comes next.
